Planning Applications

The list of planning applications to be considered at the meeting is appended.

Minutes:

Reports of the Head of Planning and Regeneration, setting out applications for planning permission, were submitted (items 1 to 7 in the appendix to the agenda filed with these minutes).  Additional Items reports in respect of applications P/19/1281/2, P/19/1362/2, P/19/1457/2, P/19/1374/2, P/19/1479/2, P/19/2111/2 and P/19/2340/2 were also submitted (also filed with these minutes).

 

In accordance with the procedure for public speaking at meetings, the following objector, applicants or their representatives and representative of a parish council attended the meeting and expressed their views:

 

(i)         Mr Bentley (objector) and Mr Baker (agent) in respect of applications P/19/1369/2, P/19/1457/2, P/19/1374/2 and P/19/1479/2;

(ii)        Mr Cooper (agent) in respect of application P/19/2111/2.

 

In accordance with the procedure for Borough Councillors speaking at Plans Committee meetings, the following Councillors attended the meeting and expressed their views:

 

(i)         Councillor Morgan in respect of application P/19/1281/2;

 

Having made a disclosure under the Planning Guide of Good Practice, Councillors Fryer, Campsall and Tillotson withdrew from the Committee table during the consideration of application P/19/1281/2 (The Outwoods Country Park, Woodhouse Eaves).

 

Councillor Snartt made an earlier declaration in relation to application P/19/1457/2 and withdrew from the Committee table during the consideration of the application (Land to the North East of Leicester).

 

Councillor Bentley also made an earlier declaration in relation to application P/19/2340/2 and withdrew from the Committee table during the consideration of the application (The Stables, School Lane, Woodhouse).

 

RESOLVED

 

1.            that, in respect of application P/19/1281/2 (The Outwoods Country Park, Woodhouse Eaves)

 

(a)  planning permission be granted subject to the conditions, reasons and advice notes set out in the report and additional items report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration;

(b)  delegated authority be given to the Head of Planning and Regeneration to add an additional condition to the application regarding the opening hours of the visitors centre cafe;

 

2.         that, in respect of application P/19/1369/2 (Land to the North East of Leicester), planning permission be granted subject to the conditions, reasons, advice notes and amendments set out in the report and additional items report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration;

 

3.         that, in respect of application P/19/1457/2 (Land to the North East of Leicester), planning permission be granted subject to the conditions, reasons, advice notes and amendments set out in the report and additional items report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration.

 

4.         that, in respect of application P/19/1374/2 (Land to the North East of Leicester), planning permission be granted subject to the conditions, reasons, advice notes and amendments set out in the report and additional items report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration.

 

5.         that, in respect of application P/19/1479/2 (Land to the North East of Leicester), planning permission be granted subject to the conditions, reasons, advice notes and amendments set out in the report and additional items report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration.

 

6.         that, in respect of application P/19/2111/2 (Tithe Farm, 160 Nottingham Road), planning permission be granted subject to the conditions, reasons and advice notes set out in the report and additional items report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration.

 

7.         that, in respect of application P/19/2340/2 (The Stables, School Lane), planning permission be refused subject to the reasons for refusal and advice notes set out in the report and additional items report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration.
