1.	Appointment of Chair The Panel will appoint a Chair from amongst its members. Minutes: RESOLVED that Councillor Murphy be appointed Chair for the meeting.
2.	Disclosures of Pecuniary Interests and Other Registrable and Non-registrable interests For information, disclosable pecuniary interests and registrable interests relate to entries that are included, or should be included, on a councillor’s register of interests. Non-registrable interests relate to any other matters. Minutes: No disclosures were made.
3.	Exempt Information It is recommended that members of the public be excluded from the meeting during the consideration of the following item on the grounds that it will involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972. 4.	Complaint of a potential breach of the Members' Code of Conduct To consider a report of the Monitoring Officer providing information concerning a complaint against a Borough Councillor, for which the decision reached by the Monitoring Officer following his initial fact finding differs from the conclusion of the Independent Person. The Monitoring Officer and Independent Person will attend the Panel. The Panel is asked to consider whether or not further action is required in respect of the complaint. Minutes: A report of the Monitoring Officer was considered providing information concerning a complaint against a Borough Councillor, for which the decision reached by the Monitoring Officer following his initial fact finding differed from the Conclusion of the Independent Person. The Monitoring Officer and Independent Person both attended the meeting to assist the Panel in its consideration whether or not further action was required in respect of the complaint. The Panel retired to consider the matter with the clerk and on its return RESOLVED that the complaint merited investigation. Reason For reasons as set out in the exempt minute and in accordance with the relevant process as specified in the Constitution.
