Reports of the Head of Planning and Growth, setting out applications for planning applications P/21/1797/2, P/22/2223/2 and P/19/1562/2 were submitted (item 5 on the agenda filed with these minutes). An additional report in respect of applications P/21/1797/2 and P/22/2223/2 and P/19/1562/2 was also submitted (also filed with these minutes).

In accordance with the procedure for public speaking at meetings, the following objector, applicants or their representatives attended the meeting and expressed their views:

(i)            Mr T Dillarstone (on behalf of applicant) in respect of application P/21/1797/2;

(ii)          Mr McHugh (Objector) in respect of application (P/22/2223/2);

(iii)         Mr A Davies and Mr J McKellar (on behalf of applicant) in respect of application P/22/2223/2;

(iii)       Ms J Martyn (Objector) in respect of application P/19/1562/2.

In accordance with the procedure for Borough Councillors speaking at Plans Committee meetings, the following Councillors attended the meeting and expressed their views:

(i)         Councillor David Northage in respect of application P/22/2223/2;

(ii)        Councillor David Northage (on behalf of call-in) in respect of application P/19/1562/2.

RESOLVED that, in respect of application P/21/1797/2 (Zouch Road, Hathern) planning permission be granted subject to the conditions and reasons set out in the report of the Head of Planning and Growth and the extras report.

RESOLVED that, in respect of application P/22/2223/2 (Garendon Park, Loughborough) planning permission be granted subject to the conditions and reasons set out in the report of the Head of Planning and Growth and the extras report.

RESOLVED that, in respect of application P/19/1562/2 (Davey House, Shepshed) planning permission be granted subject to the conditions and reasons set out in the report of the Head of Planning and Growth and the extras report, with the addition of reference to PIR added into condition 2 (final wording to be delegated to officers).
