The Committee is asked to confirm as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held on 26^th May 2022.

The following disclosures were made:

(i)            by Councillor Gerrard – in relation to application P/21/0119/2 – She could not approach the application with an open mind and would leave the room for the consideration of the application.

(ii)          by Councillor Bentley – in relation to application P/21/0119/2 – He was a Borough Councillor for the Ward.  He approached the application with an open mind.

The list of planning applications to be considered at the meeting is appended.

Reports of the Head of Planning and Regeneration, setting out applications for planning permission, were submitted (items 1 to 3 in the appendix to the agenda filed with these minutes).  Additional Items reports in respect of applications P/20/1176/2 and P/21/0615/2 were also submitted (also filed with these minutes).  A further verbal report was given regarding application P/20/1176/2 regarding a representation received after the publication of the Additional Items reports.

In accordance with the procedure for public speaking at meetings, the following objector, applicants or their representatives and representative of a parish council attended the meeting and expressed their views:

(i)         Mr Ian Wardle (Objector) in respect of application P/21/0119/2;

(ii)        Mr Philip Crawley (Applicant) in respect of application P/20/1176/2;

RESOLVED

1.         that, in respect of application P/21/0119/2 (Trustees of JDC Sansom Companies Pension Ltd. Closed Public Toilets, Stonehill Avenue, Birstall, Leicestershire) planning permission be granted subject to the conditions and informative notes set out in the report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration;

2.         that, in respect of P/20/1176/2 (Paudy View Farm, Paudy Lane, Seagrave, LE7 4TB), the resolution of the Planning Committee regarding the application on 27^th January 2022 be amended to include the updates to the conditions and reasons set out in the report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration;

3.         that, in respect of application P/21/0615/2 (Sturdee Poultry Farm, Sowters Lane, Burton on The Wolds, Leicestershire) the resolution of the Planning Committee regarding the application on 23rd September 2021 as amended on 16^th December 2021 be amended to include revised condition wording for conditions 3 and 7 set out in the report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration.
