(ii)                by Councillor Grimley – in relation to application P/21/1079/2 – He had a professional relationship with a speaker, but he came to the meeting with an open mind.

(iii)               by Councillor Grimley – in relation to application P/21/1155/2 – He had a professional relationship with a speaker, but he came to the meeting with an open mind.

(iv)               by Councillor Forrest - in relation to application P/21/0543/2 – She was a speaker on this item.

(v)                By Councillor Tillotson – in relation to P/210543/2 – The development being considered was in her ward, but she came to the meeting with an open mind.

Reports of the Head of Planning and Regeneration, setting out applications for planning permission, were submitted (items 1 to 5 in the appendix to the agenda filed with these minutes). Additional Items reports in respect of application P/21/0615/2 was also submitted (also filed with these minutes).

 

Vice-Chair Councillor Bentley chaired the consideration of applications P/18/2600/2 and P/21/0543/2.

 

In accordance with the procedure for public speaking at meetings, the following objector, applicants or their representatives and representative of a parish council attended the meeting and expressed their views:

 

(i)    Ms D Daley (objector), Mr S Tandon (applicant) and Ms A Irving (on behalf of Woodhouse Parish Council) in respect of application P/21/1079/2;

(ii)  Ms D Daley (objector), Mr S Tandon (applicant) and Ms A Irving (on behalf of Woodhouse Parish Council) in respect of application P/21/1155/2;

(iii) Mr R Bellamy (Agent) and Mr A Lawrence (on behalf of Cotes and Prestwold Parish Council) in respect of application P/21/0615/2

In accordance with the procedure for Borough Councillors speaking at Plans Committee meetings, the following Councillors attended the meeting and expressed their views:

(ii)          Councillor Grimley in respect of application P/18/2600/2;

(iii)         Councillor Forrest in respect of application P/21/0543/2.

 

RESOLVED

 

1.    that, in respect of application . P/21/1079/2(Mr/Mrs Tandon. The Spinneys, Brand Lane, Woodhouse Eaves, LE12 8TY)planning permission be granted subject to the conditions, reasons and advice notes set out in the report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration.

 

2.    that, in respect of application . P/21/1155/2 (Mr/Mrs Tandon. The Spinneys, Brand Lane, Woodhouse Eaves, LE12 8TY) listed building consent be granted subject to the conditions, reasons and advice notes set out in the report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration,

 

3.    that, in respect of application . P/21/0615/2 (Jack Casey. Sturdee Poultry Farm, Sowters Lane, Burton on the Wolds) planning permission be granted subject to the S.106 agreement and the conditions, reasons and advice notes set out in the report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration, and the extras report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration;

4.    that, in respect of application . P/18/2600/2 (Mr Christopher Sheild. Home Farm, Main Street, Beeby) planning permission be granted subject to the conditions, reasons and advice notes set out in the report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration.

 

5.    that, in respect of application . P/21/0543/2 (Mr A Bailey. 133 Knightthorpe Road, Loughborough) planning permission be granted subject to the conditions, reasons and advice notes set out in the report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration.
