(i) by Councillor Tassell in relation to application P/21/0241/2– she served as a Ward Councillor for the area but she advised the Committee that she had not had any involvement with the application prior to the meeting and that she approached the application with an open mind. |

Minutes: Reports of the Head of Planning and Regeneration, setting out applications for planning permission, were submitted (items 1 to 2 in the appendix to the agenda filed with these minutes).
Vice-Chair Councillor Bentley chaired the consideration of application P/21/0241/2.
In accordance with the procedure for public speaking at meetings, the following objector, applicants or their representatives and representative of a parish council attended the meeting and expressed their views:
(i) Mrs C Abell (applicant) in respect of application P/21/0241/2 (ii) Mr Paul Manning (agent) and Ms Florence Sargent (artist for applicant) in respect of application P/20/0650/2;
In accordance with the procedure for Borough Councillors speaking at Plans Committee meetings, the following Councillors attended the meeting and expressed their views:
(i) Councillor Radford in respect of application P/21/0241/2;
With regard to application P/20/0650/2 officers highlighted that that there was an omission in the report recommendation, in that it needed to also refer to the continuation of the planning obligations within the agreed Section 106 agreement and the item be subject to a vote on that basis.
RESOLVED
1. that, in respect of application P/21/0241/2 (Mr and Mrs C and K Abell, 70 Brick Kiln Lane, Shepshed LE12 9EL), planning permission be granted subject to the conditions, reasons and advice notes set out in the report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration;
2. that, in respect of application P/20/0650/2 (Future Generation Ltd, Land west of Aumberry Gap, Loughborough, LE11 1BG), planning permission be granted subject to the conditions, reasons and advice notes set out in the report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration and the added recommendation of the continuation of planning obligations within the agreed Section 106 agreement;
