The Committee is asked to confirm as a correct record the minutes of the meeting held on 4th April 2019.

The following disclosures were made:

(i)            by Councillor Forrest – a disclosure under the Planning Code of Good Practice in respect of application P/18/2601/2 as the application site was in her ward; however the matter had been dealt with by her fellow ward councillor, Councillor Tillotson, and she retained an open mind;

(ii)          by Councillor Tillotson – a disclosure under the Planning Code of Good Practice in respect of application P/18/2601/2 as she had called the application in and would be speaking against the application.

The list of planning applications to be considered at the meeting is attached.

A report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration, setting out an application for planning permission, was submitted (item 1 in the appendix to the agenda filed with these minutes). 

In accordance with the procedure for Borough Councillors speaking at Plans Committee meetings, the following Councillor attended the meeting and expressed her views:

(i)         Councillor Tillotson in respect of application P/18/2601/2.

Having made a disclosure under the Planning Code of Good Practice, Councillor Tillotson withdrew from the Committee table during the consideration of application P/18/2601/2 (Properties 365 Ltd, 68 Paget Street, Loughborough).

RESOLVED that, in respect of application P/18/2601/2 (Properties 365 Ltd, 68 Paget Street, Loughborough), planning permission be granted subject to the conditions, reasons and advice notes set out in the report of the Head of Planning and Regeneration and to an additional advice note setting out that the applicant may need to apply for a new house in multiple occupation licence.

The Chair referred to the meeting being the last meeting of the Committee in the current Council term and his last as Chair.  He thanked members of the Committee and officers for their work over the previous four years.
